Broker flight pricing ranges dramatically and can have added hidden fees including repositioning, de-icing and credit card transactions. Quartz has fixed rates with no hidden costs.
Brokers use multiple companies and cannot always guarantee your flight will go ahead. Quartz has greater control over the aircraft and works with its operator so you can be assured of your flight.
Brokers have harsh cancellation policies and does not consider the reason a customer might cancel the flight. Quartz understands plans change and have a cancellation policy second to none.

Quartz recommends that our passengers arrive at the airport 20 minutes before the expected departure time. Remember if your running late, you can just message the pilot and delay the flight.
Large airports have dedicated private jet check-in facilities. These are normally provided by specialist handling agents often called FBOs (Fixed Base Operators) Quartz will send you detailed directions to the airport facilities and your pilot will be waiting for you at the entrance.
At your departure and arrival airport you will be escorted to/ from the aircraft by both the aircraft pilot and a representative from the handling agent (or FBO), if applicable. The FBO will also handle any ground transportation requirements to or from the airport, which you can add to your notes when booking.
Most larger airports have either separate private jet terminals or buildings called FBOs (Fixed Based Operators) where private flight passengers check in for their flight. At many airports, private flight passengers can be driven straight through security to their aircraft. The time from arriving at the private jet terminal to boarding your aircraft is normally less than 5 minutes. If however there is a delay to your flight or perhaps you have chosen to arrive early, the FBOs will normally have private executive lounges for you to relax or work in.
Depending on your flight destination and nationality you may not require your passport when travelling by private plane. However Quartz always recommends that our clients travel with a passport, even for domestic flights within their own country.
Customs and immigration procedures must be complied with for all private flights. Customers are often not aware of any checks as in most cases these can be completed prior to the flight. At larger airports the private terminal will have dedicated customs and immigration staff. At smaller airports it is rare to see Customs and Immigration officials although they will be aware of your flight and can occasionally make special visits to the airport to meet a flight.
You can fly with your pet in the aircraft (currently 8kg/dog) - as long as your pet has the appropriate documents for travel. To secure your pet it must be transported on a seat or in a crate. We always recommend talking to your vet about travel advice as each animal is unique.
Some countries have different regulations for pet flights. For any queries about travelling with pets please contact us.
